Hi all,
I've done some studies on how to best determine and understand the
calibration tone data. Since I remember we had some issues applying the
DDC algoritm to the calibration tone data (residual modulation after
conversion to DC which may or may not be due to the filter or a
non-perfect frequency determination), I've reverted to fitting the damn
things with a sin wave. In :
https://www.hep.ucl.ac.uk/elog/T-474/99
you can find some info of how to best constrain the fits, and some
results for a run. I'm currently running over the T474 dataset and will
add calibration tone plots with frequency and amplitude to the database
later on. The frequencies determined using the FT and the fit agree to
10^-4 level.
Cheers,
bino
