Dear Bino Maiheu,
This mail is addressed to all submitting/primary authors of contributions accepted for poster presentation at PAC 2007.
Please note that information about the poster sessions is published at the conference website
http://pac07.org/program/postersessions/index.html
More information about the preparation of posters will be available in due course.
We should like to take this opportunity to remind you that no contributions are accepted for publication only. Any paper accepted for presentation, which is not presented at the conference, will be excluded from the Proceedings.
Furthermore, the Scientific Program Committee reserves the right to refuse papers for publication which have not been properly presented or manned in the poster sessions. Manuscripts of contributions to the proceedings (or enlargements of them) are not considered as posters and papers presented in this way will not be accepted for publication.
Your contribution (ID 1859) entitled A Prototype Energy Spectrometer for the ILC at End Station A in SLAC., will shortly be numbered into the conference programme. It will be assigned a date and place of presentation. We will inform you as soon as your programme code will have been assigned. You will also see this when logging into your PAC 2007 JACoW account.
Due to the overwhelming number of contributions submitted in response to the call for papers (>1700), poster session space at the Albuquerque Conference Centre will be tight. If you find that you, or a co-author, cannot present your work, we will be most grateful if you could withdraw the contribution. This will make the poster sessions more comfortable for delegates, and avoid wasted space and unsightly, unoccupied poster panels. Your cooperation in this respect will be much appreciated, by the organizers and delegates alike.
We would like to encourage students to present their work in the special poster session being organized for students on Sunday, June 24 during registration. This is available to students registered for a PhD or diploma in accelerator physics or engineering, or working as a trainee accelerator physicist or engineer in the educational phase of their professional career. More information is available at the website
http://pac07.org/program/postersessions/StudentPoster.html
May we also take this opportunity to remind you, if you have not yet registered, that the deadline for early, reduced registration fees, is April 25. We would also encourage you to book accommodation now.
We look forward to welcoming you to Albuquerque.
Christine Petit-Jean-Genaz
PAC 2007 Editor
On behalf of Robert Garnett, PAC 2007 Scientific Program Committee Chair and the whole Committee
