[esa-t474] Major paper update

Dear all,

	I now think we're reaching a conclusion with the paper. I have 
just put in what I hope to be the last *major* update. All analysis is now 
complete (though I may look again at a few things) and I am not planning 
to alter the text a great deal either. I have started putting in some of 
the comments that I've already receieved and will concentrate on this over 
the next week.
